Such lovely homes. I dream of this era.
Sunset beach was the only soap opera I watched. I was 11-13 lol
It is said that Florence had been a victim of SA and this infant was the result of the SA. She was 'unmarried' because she was young.
What a nice kitchen! I wish I had a kitchen like that.
Love they had videos showing exactly where you put things and how the space would operate.....nowadays u have to fugure it out on your own,
That’s a genius set up better than today.
Those counters look comfy for these ladies but they reach up to just below my butt in hight 😂 I guess these ladies must have been around 4'7 or something
She needs a fan over her stove..
A new city in a new colony on a new continent and yet it's full of Victorian slums like Bloomfield where people are crowded into the most _dirty_ places!
And they where alot smaller back then too
The 1949 kitchen is much nicer
Betty looks to be 35 years old.
Nutrição ❤
God Bless you. Enjoyed your video!
Back when women knew their place! IN.THE.HOME. !!
Back when men could afford this nice of a home by themselves
And the bench was the right height, the stove only had two hot plates plus the whole unit wasn’t very wide, think I’d prefer the old kitchen we got a quick look at in the end
My kitchen is an original 50's kitchen including the lino. I hate it......
:(
What a fascinating exposé of historical photographs. I was especially interested in the shots of Sydney's Central Railway Station. The quality of the images is surprisingly good, considering their age. My thanks to the MHNSW for the significant effort involved in putting this show together.
The "Got Aids Yet?!" Sign wrecked me, truly a cinematic ending
I love those lap boards. They should bring them back. As someone who cannot stand for long periods, but enjoys cooking, it’d be perfect along with a rolling stool or small chair!
They hunted us down to put us back into slavery
I am glad that i bump this vlog. It is so memorable to watch how simple back then. Reminds me my mother in law house Kitchen before. i wish i keep her house
Good old time 😭😭
Nice video!
I simply love these vintage vids❤
Que filme incrível ❤❤❤
Most illuminating, thank you.
Give it a rest with the acknowledgement of the unknown ancestors/traditional owners @28 seconds. We voted no at the referendum and we're sick of the meaningless virtue-signalling.
Was the voice sound dubbed in a 12 foot diameter culvert?
When women were useful and new they're place same with men. None of this i dont know my gender or i dont need a man
Yıllar içinde değişmeyen tek şey hazır sofraya oturan erkek ve tum günü ev işiyle devam eden kadın 😢
The one thing that stands out is the refrigerator door swinging to the wrong side. All modern units allow the door(s) to be switched. I've switched many a door in my time.
Someday i would like a kitchen similar to this one and the 1959 one seen in an archived video. But a 1935 GE dishwasher (its a top loader like a clothes washer)
I liked the 40’s kitchen, it seemed alive and friendly. This one looks dead and ugly.
Very neat to watch! We are putting together a bunkhouse on our farm to use as a vacation rental and want to outfit it from the 40's/50's.
My kitchen cabinets are just like this but it only has one cutting board. For all I know it could have had two in the past.
😮 I really like the hanging pots in the cupboard, never thought of that. I don't like to have things out so keeping them in a cabinet still displayed yet hidden seems so smart.🤗
I love these old kitchens
I can't get over how TINY the stove is! The oven wouldn't even fit one of my cookie sheets!
If you look there is even a hook for the keys to the S&M dungeon, and a few ballgags under the sliding chopboard.
Been drinking milk since I was born,,, I'll be 79 in Feb. 😍😀❤
What colors does it come in ??? 😁 I would LOOOVE to have that ( RIGHT NOW ! ) ❤
I dont care what anyone says. This was the best era for America and the UK.
